Asset Protection

Clean fluid is the cheapest reliability you can buy

Rotating equipment does not usually fail because a component was badly made. It fails because the fluid around it was dirty. Particulate in a lube or hydraulic system abrades bearings and servo valves; water drives corrosion and strips additives; oxidation products lay down the varnish that causes turbine servo-valve stiction and trips.

Filtration is the cheapest intervention in that chain — an element costs a fraction of an unplanned outage. The difficulty for a Malaysian operator is rarely knowing that; it is getting the right element, to the right island or platform, before the outage window closes.

That is the gap we fill: correct Pall part identification against your existing housing, stock held locally rather than on an import lead time, and installation and purification services to go with it.

Turbine lube oil

Particulate and water in the lube system attack journal and thrust bearings and degrade the oil itself — reduced lubricity, oxidation, acid formation and additive precipitation. Correctly rated elements hold the fluid at its target ISO cleanliness code through the run.

Hydraulic & EHC control fluid

Governor and control systems run tight servo clearances that are unforgiving of contamination. Pressure- and return-line elements keep the fluid clean enough for the valve to move when the control system asks it to.

Varnish & oxidation products

Varnish deposits on oil-wetted surfaces are a leading cause of servo-valve stiction and consequential trips. We supply and operate varnish removal and oil purification equipment as a service, not just the consumables.

Water & gas removal

Oil purifiers strip free and dissolved water and entrained gases from turbine and hydraulic oils, preventing corrosion and extending fluid service life. We have supplied and rented purifier and vacuum dehydrator units to EDRA and TNB stations.

Reservoir breathers

A tank breathes as it heats and cools, and in a tropical climate it draws in humid air every cycle. A correctly specified breather is the cheapest water-ingress control on the plant.

Process & pre-filtration

Depth and pleated cartridges for water, condensate and process streams where the duty is bulk particulate removal ahead of a finer stage or a downstream asset.

Pall’s long-running lube and hydraulic cartridge elements. Ultipor III uses a patented helical-wrap pleat support, and coreless versions weigh substantially less than equivalents with metal end caps and cores.

Pall’s current Supralon elements are a direct form, fit and function replacement for the older Coralon and Ultipor “HC” elements. Send us a superseded HC part number and we will identify the current equivalent for you.

Ultipleat SRT / Athalon

Ultipleat SRT / Athalon

Coreless Laid-Over Pleat elements with Stress-Resistant Technology, for pressure and return lines, at a Betaₓ(c) ≥ 2000 (ISO 16889) particle removal rating.
