Pall 8300 Series filter housings replaced by Ultipleat UR619
Pall has discontinued the 8300/04/10/14 Series filter assemblies and is replacing them with the Ultipleat UR619. Elements for 8300 housings already in service remain available.
Pall’s listing for the 8300/04/10/14 Series assemblies states that they are being replaced with Ultipleat UR619 filter assemblies.[1]
The 8300 is a high-flow assembly with coreless element technology — rated to 28 bar and 1,135 L/min — typically found on large lube and return circuits. Pall continues to list Supralon elements for the 8300 family, so an installed housing can keep running on current elements.[1][2]
The decision that matters is when to change the housing. An element order needs no engineering; moving to the UR619 is a housing replacement, which means pipework, mounting and an outage window. We can keep supplying the elements now, and plan and install the housing change with you when the plant is ready.
If you run an 8300 housing
- Keep ordering the element on your current part number — we supply it as before.
- When you want to plan the change, tell us the duty, flow and pipework and we will check the UR619 against it.
- We quote the housing, the elements and the installation together, timed to your outage window.
