Pall Ultipleat SRT elements now supplied as Athalon
Pall moved its Ultipleat SRT lube and hydraulic elements to the Athalon name from 1 October 2023. For the UE210 and UE610 elements, the part number did not change — the element behind it got better.
Pall’s upgrade announcement lists Ultipleat SRT → Athalon alongside the Coralon and Ultipor III → Supralon change, effective 1 October 2023, and describes the new filters as delivering better performance in the same package as the outgoing products.[1]
The UE element numbers carry over. Pall’s Athalon housing datasheets still specify elements as UE210 or UE610 plus a grade, length and seal code, using the same AZ, AP, AN, AS and AT grade codes as the Ultipleat SRT range, and Pall lists existing UE numbers under the Athalon name.[2][3][4][5]
What changed is the rating. Ultipleat SRT grades were rated βx(c) ≥ 1000; Athalon grades are rated βx(c) ≥ 2000 under ISO 16889.[5][6]
Nothing about your order needs to change. A UE element ordered today is the Athalon element — if your specification sheet still quotes the older β ≥ 1000 figures, the element you receive now performs to the higher rating.

Ordering a UE element
- Order on the part number you already use — it is still current.
- For a housing we have not supplied before, send us the housing model and we will confirm the element size and length.
- For a competitor’s element in a Pall housing, send us its number and we will identify the Athalon equivalent.
