Despite the HC prefix, this is not a hydraulic cartridge: it is the disposable 3 µm element for Pall’s 0293 Series non-corroding reservoir air breathers, with oleophobic resin-bonded fibres potted in epoxy inside a polyamide cap and shroud.
A reservoir breathes every time it heats and cools, and on a Malaysian site every breath is warm, humid air. The breather is the cheapest place to stop particulate and water from entering a lube or hydraulic system in the first place — which is why we treat it as part of the same asset-protection package as the elements downstream.
Elements in this family serve turbine lube oil and EHC control-fluid systems, reservoir breathers and process duties across gas-fired, coal-fired and combined-cycle plant — the part numbers we move most often for the power generation industry in Malaysia.
